Dubai Airshow 2025 Takes Flight with Its Most Expansive Participant Line-Up in History
The 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow concluded as the most successful in the event’s history, cementing its status as the world’s leading aerospace and defense platform. Held at Dubai World Central (DWC) from November 17–21, 2025, the show welcomed a staggering 248,788 visitors—a massive increase that reflects the surging global interest in aviation innovation. Under the theme “The Future is Here,” the event facilitated landmark deals totaling over $202 billion, nearly doubling the commercial results of the 2023 edition and reinforcing Dubai’s pivotal role in shaping the global flight landscape.
This year’s line-up was the largest to date, featuring more than 1,500 exhibitors from 98 countries, including 440 first-time participants. The static and flying displays were a major highlight, showcasing over 200 cutting-edge aircraft. Industry giants made significant moves: Emirates announced a $41.4 billion investment for additional Boeing 777-9 and Airbus A350-900 jets, while flydubai signed for 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The show also marked the historic Middle East debut of the COMAC C919 from China and the first public air taxi demonstration by Joby Aviation, signaling a rapid shift toward advanced air mobility.
Beyond commercial aviation, the 2025 Airshow broke new ground with its largest-ever Space Pavilion, organized in partnership with the UAE Space Agency. This dedicated hub brought together astronauts, scientists, and over 120 startups to discuss the commercialization of lunar exploration and satellite technology. Sustainability also took center stage, with a world-first demonstration of a fully sustainable aircraft turnaround and the widespread use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for flying displays.
